Melbourne launch of four new EPs at Bar 303

Clan Analogue launch four new EPs with a night of electronic music spanning the extremes of order and chaos, at Bar 303, 303 High St Northcote on Friday the 22nd of October. The night launches the new EPs by Valley Forge, Koshowko, Lunar Module and Tiatto with a lineup of live electronic music acts and DJs in two rooms from 8pm until late.

The Order Room features four live electronic music acts, each playing their own unique grooves and precisely-crafted tones. Indietronica act Valley Forge and new wave revivalists Lunar Module head down the Hume from Sydney, their Tarago packed full of synthesizers, laptops and grooveboxes, picking up Albury’s sonic disco cannonball Bloodloss Vegas on the way. Melbourne’s Koshowko joins the bill, bringing opulent nu-disco beats, epic synths and haunting vocoder melodies.

The Chaos Room will descend into sine-wave-induced madness as DJs Reductionist, Winduptoy, Sunsaria and Tigerlilly vie for control of the decks, each intent on playing the most freaked-out tones and beats heard in Northcote since the Spring Equinox.

Following the acclaimed Re Cognition: The Clan Analogue Legacy Collection, electronic music collective Clan Analogue release four new EPs from a selection of underground Australian electronic acts. From dreamy indietronica to new wave electro nostalgia, nu-disco groove to two-step rocktronica, continuing Clan Analogue’s proud tradition of dragging new Australian electronic music artists out of the bedroom.

Valley Forge release their double A-side debut EP Follow Suit, spanning classic electro-pop and club sounds through to melodic introspective indietronica, with exclusive remixes from the reclusive and legendary Single Gun Theory and Sydney’s prodigal synth-pop sons Boxcar.

Ride the rocket into the new wave of new wave and get ready for Lunar Module‘s self-titled EP Lunar Module, blending the greatest synth sounds of the eighties with modern cutting-edge dance music sensibilities.

Recorded following their German tour, Koshowko’s EP The Truth In Me combines lush synthetic soundscapes, infectious melodies and polished nu-disco grooves.

Theme From Tiatto by Tiatto contains Teutonic slabs of analogue synthesizer, random breakbeats, funky distorted clavinet stabs, ambient drones and earsplitting guitar noises from special guest Penny Ikinger, plus an Andy Rantzen remix.
